How to schedule a session?

Simply click on the Contact Me tab and shoot me an email. I will email you my session guide, which contains all the information you need to know about booking a session with me. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about your session and discuss the perfect location, clothing ideas as well as what you are looking to get out of your session.

What to expect?

Sessions can be taken in the comfort of your own home or on location. Once you book a session with me I will send you an email with information about your session and 20 links to different locations to choose from. If you have a location in mind that is not included on my list I'd be more than happy to shoot your session there (as long as it's within 30 miles from area code 85395. If it's further there will be a small travel fee added to your session fee.) I am always open to shooting in new locations. Depending on the collection package you purchase, on location sessions usually last from 45 minutes to 2 hrs.

What do I need to know when booking a maternity/newborn session?

I usually advise to schedule a maternity session between 30-38 weeks of pregnancy. Some women like to book early on so they won't be uncomfortable and swollen. While others want to wait close to the very end when they are at their biggest. Either way please be sure to contact me as soon as possible. Once the session fee is paid, we start planning the maternity session. I also jot down the newborn session on my calendar a week from your delivery date. I just ask you email me every now and then to let me know how your pregnancy is going, and if there have been any changes to your due date. Newborn sessions usually take place in my home studio in Goodyear, AZ. Sessions can also be taken in the comfort of your own home. There will be a small travel fee for this, which would be added to your session fee. If parents plan on taking pictures, I usually advise you to wear either black or white. It's plain and simple. You don't have to worry about outfits especially after having a new baby at home. Please bring an extra change of clothes in case the baby has an accident on your clothes while taking pictures. Depending on the collection package you purchase the session may last anywhere around 2 to 4 hours. So please be sure to bring snacks, drinks, etc. When you inquire about a newborn session. I will email you my newborn/maternity guide. Please read through it a few days before your scheduled session. It includes a lot information on how to prepare for your newborn shoot.

Do you include props for newborn sessions?

YES, I have a ton of props you can choose from. If there is anything in particular you'd like to incorporate into the shoot, please do! I LOVE when clients bring their own props, it makes it much more personal.

Do you offer milestone packages?

YES, I offer two Grow With Me collections, one includes newborn, 3, 6, 9, and 12 month sessions. The other collection is a mini, which includes 3 sessions of your choosing. (PLEASE click on the Grow With Me gallery so you can see some examples of these beautiful sessions.

What happens after the session?

Within 2 to 3 weeks following your session, you will be presented with your private online gallery and shopping cart. Depending on the package you purchase, your gallery will have approximately 25-45 images to view. Your images will be online for 5 days. You will need to place your order before your gallery expires. If your gallery expires there will be a $35 reactivation fee.

What do we wear?

After you pay your session fee I send you a link for wardrobe inspiration ideas. I will be more than happy to discuss clothing options and guide you in the right direction to not only suit your family but the location where your session will take place as well.

How does your referral program work?

Refer a friend or family member and upon completion of their portrait session, you and the person you referred earn a $50 credit towards a portrait order.

Can I scan my prints?

ALL images are copyrighted by Laura Gordillo Photography. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, download, re- edit, print, publish to the internet or reproduce my work without written permission. IF digital images are purchased, the client is entitled to printing rights ONLY.

Can we meet with you to discuss our wedding details?

This will give us some time to get to know one another, and you can share your LOVE story with me!Can you hold our date?Unfortunately, I am unable to pencil you in without a signed copy of the agreement and the retainer payment.

 

What do you require for booking?

 

I require a signed contract and a deposit of 50% of the contracted amount to lock in your date. The balance will be due 14 days prior your wedding date.
